WHY I'M FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER

Dear family and friends,

I am participating in the 2019 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk in memory of my stepfather Bill Page.  He passed away December 3, 2018 after a 10 year battle with Prostate Cancer.  During that time he faced multiple surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy and experimental treatments.  Bill faced each challenge with optimism and determination.  He had a "never give up" attitude.  I hope these traits will carry me though as I walk 26.2 miles on September 22 with my sister Amy and Bill's daughter Jennifer.  My boys, Philip and Ethan, will be joining us for the last 5K.

When you make a gift to my walk, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s cutting-edge science and highly compassionate cancer care. Your support allows Dana-Farber  to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.

I also walk in memory of other family members who have lost their lives to cancer:

Roger Cutler, Jr 1972

Philip Miller 1992

Edward Cutler 1996

Almon Huff 1998

Earline Miller 2005

Lawrence Miller 2017

I walk in honor of family members living with cancer:

Roger Cutler

Frank Pirrello

Thank you for supporting my participation in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk.
