I walk in hopes of helping many loved and missed friends, family, and strangers in need. Especially a dear family friend Carolyn Harlow who inspired our team "Heels for Harlow." I am also walking this year in memory of my beloved cousin Jessica. Jessie (pictured above) lost her battle to NUT midline carcinoma the summer of 2012. Although she was only a mere 15 year old girl, Jess’s bravery and perseverance through her diagnosis and battle inspire me every day.
When you make a gift to my walk, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge science and highly compassionate cancer care. Your support allows Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
Thank you for supporting my participation in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. Together, we can conquer cancer!
