I am participating in the 2020 Boston Marathon Jimmy fund walk! I walk for many. For those battling cancer now, cancer survivors who advocate for research and donations, and the many who have passed and their families who supported and loved them. But most importantly, I walk for my beloved cousin Jessica Silver who lost her battle to NUT midline carcinoma in the summer of 2012. Although she was only a mere 15 years old when she passed, her strength and resilience throughout her diagnosis and difficult battle with cancer inspires me every day.
When you make a gift to my walk, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge science and highly compassionate cancer care. Your support allows Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
Thank you for supporting my participation in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. Together, we can conquer cancer!
