One of my favorite pictures of my grandfather up in Maine
I am participating in the 2022 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai, taking steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
As some of you may know, I lost my grandfather to cancer back in 2006 and it was a devastating blow to our family, as it would be to anyone's. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who we miss every day and was taken too young missing out on a lot of great family memories and great grandchildren he did not get to meet. All sadness aside, I am doing my part to help eradicate cancer or at least help prolong a good quality of life for those inflicted.
