I'm doing this marathon for three reasons:
1. In memory of Tom Iampietro. Tom did NOT have cancer. BUT, Tom was my coach and pushed me to do anything to better myself or others.
2. Doing a marathon is on my bucket list and with two new knees I now can
3. The most important reason, to raise money to find a cure for cancer. We've lost too many to this disease. I was lucky enough that my pre-cancer was caught in time. We've lost too many too soon..especially my daughter-in-law's mother, Joan. A beautiful example of the strength and love of the human spirit.
There is no pressure to give to this. Should you choose, thank you very much. Together, we can conquer cancer!
