Friends and family:
As many of you know, my boyfriend Zach was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in February of this year. He is currently undergoing treatment at Dana-Farber—an incredible cancer treatment and research institution here in Boston.
Dana-Farber has been a source of hope to all of us at this time. His doctors, nurses, and the staff are absolutely amazing; he is in the very best hands and because of that, we have been able to fight this terrible battle head on.
This October, I am participating in the 2020 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk: Your Way, taking steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer. While the walk will be very different this year, I am excited to take part and do what I can to give back to a place that will have forever changed my life and the life of millions.
When you make a gift to my walk, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge science and highly compassionate cancer care. Your support allows Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients, like Zach, and their families.
Thank you for supporting my participation in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk—it means the world. Together, we can conquer this awful disease. #FuckCancer
