I am participating in the 2021 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk in honor and support of my sister who passed away in May of 2021 from Her2+ Metastatic Breast Cancer.
Alicia was an amazing soul with the most positive attitude, even up to her last breath. She died too young, and so do 40,000 women each and every year in the United States. The global impact is even greater. Only 2%-5% of funds raised for breast cancer research are earmarked for "the metastatic breast cancer patient" even though these individuals have the highest mortality rate. This is where we want the funds we raise to go.
When you make a gift to my walk, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s research towards Metastatic Breast Cancer. Help us take steps to help prevent other women from suffering the same fate as my sister Alicia.
Thank you in advance for supporting my Jimmy Fund Walk fundraising efforts.
