I am participating in the 2020 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk: Your Way presented by Hyundai, taking steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer!
As many of you know, my Dad John Pitman lost his battle with a rare form of cancer when he was just 49 years old. He fought incredibly hard for 6 months, and that fight would not have been possible without Dana-Farber. My dad was the ultimate girl-dad and I consider myself so lucky to have had him in my life for 17 years. I know many people, just like me, who have lost family members or friends to this awful disease. Dana-Farber is taking steps to make sure more people are fighting and winning their battle against cancer. I can't think of a better way to support them than by honoring my Dad and others who have been impacted by cancer by participating in the Jimmy Fund Walk (virtually or in person). Any donations are appreciated and feel free to join my team!
When you make a gift to my walk, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge science and highly compassionate cancer care. Your support allows Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
Thank you for supporting my participation in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. Together, we can conquer cancer!
