I am participating in the 2020 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk: Your Way presented by Hyundai, taking steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer!
When you make a gift to my walk, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge science and highly compassionate cancer care. Your support allows Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
I am walk for my cousin MaryAnn Aucoin, who lost her battbattle with Clear Cell Endometrial Cancer on December 7, 2019. MaryAnn had an infectious laugh and lit up a room when she entered. MaryAnn was a good Mom to her kids. Wife to her husband. A great sister, cousin, and daughter. She wore all her titles with pride and well. She had a career as a nurse, as well becoming an instructor/teacher, to the next generation of nurses.
MaryAnn had treatment and actually beat the cancer. But, it came back. Then she came to the United States from Canada to get experimental treatments always with a positive fighting attitude. Unfortunately she was to sick and had to stop the treatments.
MaryAnn her self has participated in many walking event to raise money for various charities, which is why I am walking for her memory
I am asking you my friends and family to donate to this cause. I have committed to raising $1,000 by walking 26.2 miles (virtually) to raise money for the Jimmy Fund, On October 4th 2020. Please help me meet and exceed my goal. Thank you all in advance🤗
Thank you for supporting my participation in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. Together, we can conquer cancer!
