WALKING 13.1 MILES WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO DEFY CANCER BECAUSE I'VE GOT JACK'S BACK!

In January 2019, my dad, Jack was diagnosed with chronic myelomonocytic leukemia. CMML is a type of cancer that effects the blood and bone marrow of older adults. Dad is in great spirits and is not taking this lying down. He is living everyday to the fullest and he has set a goal to dance with my daughter Ivy (now 6) on her wedding day someday and I have every intention of seeing that happen.

On October 2nd, I will be participating in the half marathon walk of the 2022 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai, taking steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.

I would like to support this cause and give back to those that are directly helping my dad. It is due to the incredible care and compassion of Dana-Farber and especially Dr. Winer, that my dad is doing so well as he battles CMML. All funds raised support patients with all cancer types. If you’d like to sponsor me in the walk, you can use the donate button below. I’d be truly appreciative of any donations to support the amazing work they do at Dana-Farber.

When you make a gift to my Walk, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge research and compassionate patient care. Your support allows Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.

Thank you for supporting my Jimmy Fund Walk fundraising efforts. Together, we can defy cancer!
