Be an Arsenic Avenger with me. I am walking in the Jimmy Fund walk to cure cancer. As you may know I was diagnosed with APL leukemia in December 2022. I am one of the lucky ones.  My treatment is unconventional and it consists of arsenic - hence the team name. After five rounds of chemotherapy, my remission rate will be 98%. That is unheard of. I want that remission rate for all cancer patients. I cannot explain the tremendous care I was given at both Brigham and Women’s hospital and at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. I feel like the least I can do is to participate so that all cancer patients can have the quality of care I had.
