I am participating in the 2023 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai as a virtual walker with my family and friends. We are taking steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
In September 2022, I was diagnosed with breast cancer - three types. Invasive Lobular Carcinoma (ILC), Ductal Carcinoma in situ (DCIS), and Lobular Neoplasia ER/PR+ HER2-. Intimidating medical words meaning hormone based breast cancers. I was BLESSED with an amazingly supportive family which lead to a very kind and compassionate oncology team. I am forever thankful for my Dana-Farber oncologist and breast surgeon.
