On December 8th 2022 Ramie "Buddy" was enjoying a Christmas party at the park, running around playing with his friends. That same day we would find out he had cancer. Ramie was diagnosed with Hepatablastoma, a rare pediatric liver cancer. Just like that his life and the lives of those who love him would change forever.
Thankfully, Ramie is NACHO AVERAGE CANCER WARRIOR! He has taken cancer on headfirst and is bringing joy and hope to everyone he knows. He is showing everyone that a joyful spirit and faith can overcome fear and the unknown and ultlimately DEFY CANCER!
Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund are also NACHO AVERAGE CANCER WARRIORS! They are fighting right along with the patients and families to DEFY CANCER! The care and genuine support of the doctors and nurses at Dana Farber and the Jimmy Fund Clinic is literally life changing. They have dedicated their lives to helping cancer patients become cancer survivors!
Not only is Ramie receiving the best possible care but through the ground breaking research and studies being done at Dana Farber, he is hopefully helping the doctors get closer to their goal of a world without cancer.
