I am participating in the 2024 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk on Sunday, October 6th, taking steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
Cancer affects everyone, if not you personally, someone you love. Cancer is also on the rise among young people, sadly the numbers continue to increase. Each persons journey through diagnosis, surgery, treatment and long term care is a difficult one. The care, compassion, support and encouragement offered by hospital staff is pivital in helping a cancer patient make their way through each step as they approach the finish line for treatment and continue care with their team of doctors to insure the best possible outcome for their future. Research for improved treatments are imperative for improved outcomes and for a patients longterm outlook.
