I am participating in the 2024 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai. 

Many of you know, I was diagnosed during the holidays in late 2015 with Medullary Thyroid Cancer which followed up with a 9-hour surgery that included the removal of my thyroid, salivary gland, parathyroid and 88 lymph nodes. My cancer went undetected, and I was late stage 3, early stage 4 and it was by a random set of circumstances that led to the discovery. Cancer has affected people very close to me directly and indirectly including a dear friend who just started their journey.

My husband and I have joined the Dana-Farber Jimmy-Fund Cancer walk in Boston scheduled for Oct 6th and will embark on a 5K walk together. We are beyond grateful that today I am healthy, and we've pledged our support to fight cancer.  We are asking that if anyone is interested in providing a donation, either anonymously or otherwise it would be greatly appreciated.  I have provided a link to my personal page if you are interested, if you are unable to donate, please help by sharing the link.
