WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER

I am participating in the 2022 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai, taking steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.

In October 2017 our world changed when Maggie was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).  She hit remission a month later and in November 2019 had completed 2 years of weekly chemo.

As we approach her 5 year mark we as a family have decided to walk the 5K portion of the Jimmy Fund Walk together to celebrate all that we have gone thru and all that we have to celebrate.

When you make a gift to my Walk, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge research and compassionate patient care. Your support allows Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.

Thank you for supporting my Jimmy Fund Walk fundraising efforts. Together, we can defy cancer!
