WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER

Thank you for supporting our team in walking in honor of Ari's fight against lymphoma.

All funds raised directly support the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in creating and enhancing programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.

Every cancer story is different. Here's how our family benefitted from Dana Farber and the Jimmy Fund this summer:

  • Exceptionally kind and compassionate care - from the nurses who managed to make Ari smile despite fevers and blood draws; to the front-desk staff that cracked jokes with him as we came and went; to the doctors who patiently and empathetically answered all our questions over and over and celebrated with us when Ari went into remission.

  • A well-stocked snack room filled with pretty much anything a little kid would want to eat or drink while sitting through hours of out-patient appointments.

  • Books, games and crafts to keep us occupied in the waiting room, and the Child Life program that kept him smiling all summer long.
