WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER

We are so excited to be walking in the 2023 Jimmy Fund Walk to raise critical funds for Dana-Farber. In 2022, we raised over $19K to support the Lowe Center for Thoracic Oncology at Dana-Farber. Since we started walking - we have raised over $162,000! Absolutely amazing.

This tremendous accomplishment was made possible through all the generous support we received from so many of you. With this money, doctors in the Lowe Center are doing some pretty incredible things, like developing and conducting novel combination clinical trials, combining targeted therapies, immunotherapies, or targeted therapies with immunotherapies—to overcome or prevent drug resistance. These early stage clinical trials, many of which arise from scientific discoveries made by Lowe Center physician-scientists, are critical in ultimately changing the standard of care. It is with your help that clinical trials like this are possible. This year (as we have done the past two years) – the first $5,000 we raise will support Dana-Farber’s Bereavement Program, and the remaining funds will support lung cancer research.

We walk in memory of Cindy Hogan, a wife, mother, sister-in-law, daughter, niece, aunt, friend, nurse. We miss her every single day.
We walk in memory and in honor of all of our family and friends that this disease has impacted. It's with hope and determination that one day, we won't need to do the Walk anymore. Any support you can offer is greatly appreciated!
