WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER

For the 2nd consecutive year, Team Granite City Electric will be participating in the Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai. Our team is making every step count toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.

Last year we started our team with the common goal of raising funds/awareness for cancer research and patients then having some fun as a team on walk day. We walk for our family, friends, co-workers, and anyone else who has ever been affected by some form of cancer. These days the world could use some more hope and positivity; we're just trying to do our part to make our planet a better, more compassionate place for generations to come.

Your support goes directly to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge research and compassionate patient care. Funds raised through the Jimmy Fund Walk enable Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
