5 years ago, I completed treatment for breast cancer after being diagnosed at the age of 35. WOW... the words are difficult to say in the best way possible. It's pretty incredible to look back and say I AM CANCER FREE thanks for the amazing research and care provided by Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. I have been in such awe of their work that I left City Year after 16+ years and now work at DFCI on the fundraising team. I can say with more conviction than ever that every dollar goes towards groundbreaking research to help others like me say FUCK OFF CANCER.
