WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER
Dear Family and Friends,
In 2018, we established Lee's Heroes to honor and remember Lee's fight with stomach cancer in 2006. Lee (Mom, family friend and sister) was a spark of energy, with so much love to give and spirit to share. Today, she continues to inspire us in every way and we appreciate her beautiful life.
We all continue to be touched by cancer with relatives and friends and we recognize the need to raise awareness and help support cancer patients and cancer research. We honor our parents, siblings and friends lost and their positive and loving inspiration to our lives today.
In 2023, our 5th year of fundraising, we look forward to our walk with family and friends who wish to join in our mission, honor loved ones and give to this deserving community of cancer patients and for continued cancer research.
By participating in the 2023 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai, our team is making every step count toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
Your support goes directly to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge research and compassionate patient care. Funds raised through the Jimmy Fund Walk enable Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
