On March 17, 2017, our world was turned upside down when we learned that our 10 month old daughter had a malignant tumor in her eye. Thanks to the extraordinary care she received, first at Wills Eye, CHOP, and Jefferson Neuro in Philadelphia, and now at Boston Children’s, this girl is a 7 year old with an absolutely exhausting zest for life. We are so very grateful for her, every single day.
In honor of our Caroline; her babcia, Rosie; and in honor and memory of far, far too many friends and loved ones, our whole family is walking for the Jimmy Fund this year. Kevin is tackling the half marathon route, and Charlie, Caroline, and I are joining him for the last 5k. We would be so thankful for any support you can offer.
Your support goes directly to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge research and compassionate patient care. Funds raised through the Jimmy Fund Walk enable Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
Thank you for supporting our team in the Jimmy Fund Walk. Together, we can defy cancer!
