WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER

By participating in the 2023 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai, our team is making every step count toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.

We walk in honor of Ritchie Strangie, a young vibrant, smart young man who was taken away from us too early at the age of 28.  He was a patient for two years at the Jimmy Fund and received loving compassionate care and got to experience the many programs offered, to improve his quality of life during his treatment.  His family started Team Ritchie to honor his memory and express our gratitude for the care and support Ritchie received. All of the funds we raise go directly to his doctors for research so no other family has to suffer with a cancer diagnosis.
