WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER
When the Jimmy Fund Walk first started in 1989, 667 walkers raised $161,014. We as a family, Boni, Cheryl, Christiane & Jeanine, were part of those 667 walkers. We raised our money by collecting cans & turning them in for cash. Christiane even got her 2nd grade class involved by collecting cans. Boni has walked all 35 years. Christiane was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor, Pinal Blastoma, in 1988 and passed in 1992. We still continue to fundraise & walk.
No family should have to go through what Christiane did.
