A Touch of Grace's Fundraising Page

Hi, my name is Grace O’Connell and I am walking in my first Jimmy Fund walk. I was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma in 2021 right before I was about to start my first semester of college. To say it was a curve ball would be an understatement, but thanks to the Jimmy Fund I was able to overcome Ewings Sarcoma. I want to support all the staff at the Jimmy Fund for everything they do daily to make us feel as good as we can, while going through these treatments. I cannot thank them enough for their compassion and strength. Please support all that the Jimmy Fund does for us at our lowest and our highest. 

While walking the Jimmy Fund walk, I will as well be remembering my Grandfather Joseph O’Connell who had Hodgkins Lymphoma, my Grandmother Janet Evans who had Kidney Cancer and all other family members who were affected by cancer. 

By participating in the 2023 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai, our team is making every step count toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer. 

Your support goes directly to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge research and compassionate patient care. Funds raised through the Jimmy Fund Walk enable Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
