By participating in the 2023 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai, our team is making every step count toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
EMRBACE (Ending Metastatic Breast Cancer for Everyone) is a supportive program and research cohort designed specifically for adults living with metastatic breast cancer (MBC). As our name suggests, we are committed to ending metastatic breast cancer for everyone. In our efforts to do so, we conduct various clinical trials to study the effect of new targeted therapies in patients with metastatic disease. Much of the research performed at Dana-Faber has resulted in treatment breakthroughs and new standards of care. Specifically, our robust portfolio of MBC clinical trials and research to end MBC is unparalleled.
At Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a patients care team not only creates a personalized plan based on their individual needs and type of cancer but listens to patients needs and preferences as well as gives a better sense of control over their life. The resources available to patients consists of genetic testing and counseling, nutrition services, exercise consults and classes, a sexual health program, integrative therapies including massage and acupuncture, educational webinars, connecting with peers and more.
Thank you for your thoughtful generosity in supporting our team in the Jimmy Fund Walk. Together, we can defy metastatic breast cancer!
