WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER
March 12, 2019, at the age of fifteen, our daughter was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I remember vividly the feeling of overwhelming hopelessness and incredible sadness the first time we stepped foot in the Dana Farber/Jimmy Fund Clinic. Looking back however I recognize that the JFC is a place of hope and healing where the most incredible schedulers, admins, medical assistants, nurses, and doctors work together to provide their patients with kindness, compassion, strength, and the best possible care. We are so incredibly grateful for all that the Jimmy Fund did for our family.
