WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER
Last year Tufts Field Hockey was matched with Mia Lee through the non profit Team Impact. Mia was diagnosed with Leukemia when she was 4 and as of a few months ago she is cancer free!!
The team is participating in the Jimmy Fund Walk and walking with Mia. Mia is also the one who so wonderfully named our Jimmy Fund Walk group Jumbos Go Gold!
We are also hosting a Pediatric Cancer Awareness game on September 16th. Our team and Amherst will be wearing Gold scrunchies on game day. We will be asking those in attendance to also wear any gold they have to show their support!
