I choose to live and love each day, especially the last 1,000 days.

Some of you know my story.  I've begun my 4th year of having leiomyosarcoma.  Year 4!!!  And I say that in the most positive way.  I am still here because of the doctors and nurses at Dana Farber.  They are the most inspiring, the most encouraging, the best problem solvers for me and many like me.  They've recommended various radiation and chemotherapy treatments that allow me to be here with my family and my friends. 

I've only just signed up to join the Jimmy Fund Walk even though I wished to do so for months.  This summer, my sarcoma sprouted again and for the last few weeks, I've received radiation to my ribs, my hip/glute area, and my cervical area.  With these treatments and my renewed frame of mind of what's possible, I decided to walk the 10K portion of the course on October 1st for my doctors and nurses at Dana Farber.  How could I not?
