WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER
Our team is supporting this year's Jimmy Fund Walk in honor of Jackson (Jax) Carmichael, as well as all that have been affected in some way by cancer.
Jackson is a 4 year old boy currently in treatment at Dana Farber Cancer Institute for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). His receives regular chemotherapy both in the Jimmy Fund Clinic and at home and will continue treatment until October of 2025.
By participating in the 2024 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai, our team is making every step count toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
Your support goes directly to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique balance between cutting-edge research and compassionate patient care. Funds raised through the Jimmy Fund Walk enable Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
