We walk for Charlie Capalbo, and everyone else who is effected by a cancer diagnosis.
Did you know The Loot?
How about Scoot? Uke, Chuck, Char, CC 30, Charlie Cap?
(he had a lot of nicknames)
Whether you did or didn’t, if you are reading this page his life has likely touched you in some way.
He gained his wings a month shy of his 24th birthday, on 4/24/22 after a five-year legendary battle with lymphoma and leukemia.
He was one of the funniest, kindest, most annoying, but most considerate, tough-as-nails humans ever.
He knew he was dying and was not afraid . . . just before his passing he asked that as long as we are alive that we do what we can to raise funds for research, so that someday people with his diagnosis would have better treatments, and better outcomes.
So here we are, walking the Jimmy Fund Walk once again to honor the legacy of our beloved Charlie.
Please consider walking with us, and/or donate if your circumstances allow. It would mean the world him and us.
