WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER
We started our team as Team Guillermo in 2010 when our dear friend, Bill Perry, lost his battle with Melanoma. In 2014 we changed the team name to Team Perry when we lost another dear friend, Linda Perry, to Pancreatic cancer. As a team we have raised nearly $200,000 so far.
But, cancer has touched the lives of so many people. Over the years we have had 59 different walkers on the team. Some of our team members are walking to honor or in memory of friends and/or loved ones. Some of our team members are cancer survivors themselves.
We come together on the day of the Walk to support Dana Farber Cancer Institute in its efforts to battle this damn disease. Please join us in this fight by walking with us or making a donation to the team or any walker listed below.
