Erik was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of two. With the help of the staff at Dana Farber, he is not only alive, but thriving. Erik spent 26 months getting chemo weekly. He survived his hair falling out, a blood clot in his brain (a nasty side effect of one of the chemos), and being stuck in the port hundreds of times. Through it all, the staff at The Jimmy Fund Clinic was by his side encouraging him. We're so thrilled to say Erik is nearly two years off treatment and is a happy, healthy, six year old!
