WHY WE'RE FUNDRAISING WITH THE JIMMY FUND WALK TO FIGHT CANCER
We are participating in the 2024 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk in honor of our mom/Mimi, who passed on August 28th, due to complications from pancreatic cancer and CMML. She started most days with a long walk, preferably on Duxbury Beach, and we thought this was only fitting since it falls 2 days after what would have been her 86th birthday.
If you would like to donate in honor of our mom/Mimi or someone in your own life who has benefited from the care Dana-Farber Cancer Institute provides, our donations will support both cutting-edge research and compassionate patient care. Our support also allows Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
