Ellie's Hussler's runs for Dana Farber in honor of Ellen Hussey, who despite her courageous fight against cancer, sadly passed away in December of 2022. Anyone and everyone who knew her could feel her strength, bravery, and determination. She was the toughest person, especially while receiving treatment at Dana-Farber. We run to honor her, and the many others who we have lost to cancer, in hopes to one day find a cure to this horrible disease.
Not only does this race hold a special place in our hearts due to the incredible teammates we get to run alongside, but because Ellen grew up in Falmouth herself. Falmouth will always be somewhere that we can go to feel Ellen's presence, and we look forward to running in her memory again this year. Go Ellie's Husslers!!!
On August 18, our team will run alongside hundreds of Dana-Farber runners in the 52nd running of the ASICS Falmouth Road Race! We are training to run 7-miles along Cape Cod’s scenic coastline, while raising critical funds that directly support Dana-Farber Cancer Institute patients and families, in New England and around the world.
Every mile and each donation, no matter the size, supports The Dana-Farber Campaign, the Institute’s ambitious, multi-year fundraising effort, focused on supporting revolutionary research, extraordinary care, exceptional expertise, and other priorities, to help Dana-Farber accomplish its mission of preventing, treating, and defying cancer.
Thank you for your support! Together, we are helping Dana-Farber race toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
