On August 18, hundreds of Dana-Farber runners, including myself, will participate in the 52nd running of the ASICS Falmouth Road Race. I will run a 7-mile course along Cape Cod’s scenic coastline, while raising critical funds that directly support Dana-Farber Cancer Institute patients and families, in New England and around the world. Each donation, no matter the size, supports The Dana-Farber Campaign, the Institute’s ambitious, multi-year fundraising effort, focused on supporting revolutionary research, extraordinary care, exceptional expertise, and other priorities, to help Dana-Farber accomplish its mission of preventing, treating, and defying cancer.
It's been a few years since I ran in support of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, but I am excited to take on the challenge once again this August in the Falmouth Road Race. The distance might be a bit shorter, but the need is still as great as ever and I hope you’ll support me as I strive to raise funds to benefit the amazing work of The Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Jimmy Fund.
