I  run for my Dad, Gerry and for my mother n law, Shirley and anyone who has lost someone to this disease. This year after careful consideration and respect for the incredible history of Team Lanzoni, the team has decided to honor the memory of the Ninety Nine’s beloved Mike Bergeron by renaming our team to “Team Bergeron.” Mike sadly lost his battle in November 2023 after a valiant fight and has since inspired us to forge forward to continue the battle.

Not only was Mike an amazing Culinary Supervisor and a 25 Year 99er, but he was also an avid supporter of the 99 team that has raised over $6 Million for cancer research and treatment for DFCI for the past 17 years. We remember Mike as a beloved colleague and caring friend who would do anything to assist and support those around him in need.. We ALL MISS Him and this year is dedicated to Mike!
