The Miles for Matt team is heading into year two of the Falmouth Road Race for Dana-Farber.
In April of 2018 my stepdad was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Carcinoma and in the years that followed, Dana-Farber provided unwavering support to Matt and the rest of my family. The empathy of the Dana team was indescribable as we navigated the complexities of this life changing diagnosis. We are forever grateful for the care that gave us more years with Matt. This is why we continue to run for DFCI. In memory of Matt, for all our loved ones who have been affected by cancer, and for the science that will lead to a cure.
As a community, we have the power to create a more hopeful, cancer-free future, in Boston and around the world. I ask you to join me in my determination to this vital time in cancer care and research.
