This summer I will be running the Falmouth Road Race with Team "Adelia the Wonder Girl!"
In February 2023, our dear neighbor Adelia (while in 1st grade) was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumor called Diffuse Midline Glioma. She was given 9-12 months to live. Today, after 4 brain surgeries and 63 radiation treatments, Adelia is 15 months post-prognosis and still fighting with all her might.
This year the team fundraising efforts will be dedicated a new and desperately needed Brain Tumor Center that bridges Dana Farber and Boston Children's Hospital.
Please join us as we run for Adelia and all the other families and children's facing this diagnosis. We will raise vital funds, elevate awareness about pediatric brain cancer, and become part of the cure for this horrific disease.
