Adelia Szklut of Hingham, a dear friend to my daughter Casey, died of DMG on May 30, 2024 at age 8. What Adelia went through over a period of 18 months is something no child should ever have to endure. Throughout her courageous battle, Adelia moved a community. I am one of many, inspired by Adelia,  who have committed to promote awareness, and raise funds for research related to pediatric brain cancer. All funds raised will be donated to the Brain Tumor Center at Dana Farber and Boston Children’s to give some of the most brilliant doctors in the world the resources they need to find a cure.
