As many of my friends and family know, every August I run in the Falmouth Road Race, a 7 mile race along Cape Cod’s scenic coastline. It is my favorite race and definitely a part of my summer routine. This year, the Falmouth Road Race will be a bit different for me. I will be running the 7 miles for a 2nd grader named Adelia. Adelia attends the school in which I teach. Even though Adelia is not in my fifth grade class, she is the strongest little girl I know. Adelia is bravely fighting pediatric brain cancer. She comes to school with a smile on her face and has such a positive attitude each and everyday regardless of the treatments that she received that morning before school. Please help Adelia the Wonder Girl and help us fight pediatric brain cancer. Thank you for your support!
