As many of you know, my beloved mother, Patricia Rosselli, was in an uphill battle with cancer for several years. Dana Faber was the hospital that took great care of her until her final breath.
My mother was my role model, my everything, that I'm even following her steps as a social worker. I'm running in her honor the B.A.A. 5k, (April 15) the B.A.A. 10K (June 25) , and the B.A.A. Half Marathon (November 12) while raising funds to support the research to fight the cancer that took my mom.
My brother and I, as seen in the picture above, (I'm the newborn), would do anything to get our mother back but we know that is unrealistic but we have her in our hearts. So with that, we are raising funds to support groundbreaking research and extraordinary patient care to make sure no other son or daughter loses their mom, no husband lose their wife, no sibling loses their sister, and no parents lose their daughter due to cancer. Thanks to your support, Dana-Farber continues to make strides towards the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
Since its founding in 1947, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has been committed to providing adults and children with cancer the best treatment available today while developing tomorrow’s cures through cutting-edge research.
Thank you for your support!
