On August 18, hundreds of Dana-Farber runners, including myself, will participate in the 52nd running of the ASICS Falmouth Road Race! I am training to run 7-miles for Adelia "the wonder girl".
This year is particularly special because funds raised will go directly towards the Brain Tumor Center that bridges Dana Farber and Boston Children's Hospital. I have the privilege of working alongside the healthcare professionals that have worked so hard to start this center. Below is the link that provides more information:

As a nurse at Boston Children's Hospital I have had the opportunity to meet some of the most incredible kids, all of whom have shown me undeniable strength and resilience. Adelia is the reason I am running the Falmouth Road race this year. I have been lucky enough to meet her and her family who are some of the most incredible people. While battling brain cancer, Adelia has continued to be a bright light in everyone's lives, including all of her nurses. She has continued to be happy, silly, witty, and simply courageous on some of the most difficult days of her life. Please help us to raise funds for kids like Adelia, so they can continue to be kids!
Thank you in advance for your support!
