For the second year in a row, I will join Team Meghan Martin to participate in the Falmouth Road Race, to raise funds for the patients and families of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
This year, I will be running in honor of my mother, Chake, who is a breast cancer survivor. As a child, I watched her fight this terrible disease with courage and resilience, which inspired me to run for this cause. It's never easy to watch a loved one suffer, but my mother never gave up and was determined to overcome it!
My personal goal is to raise $5,000 this year for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. All the funds that our team raises will go toward research and patient care in hopes of finding a cure someday.
Thank you so much for considering supporting me with this cause. I am excited to cross the finish line again on August 18th and make a difference!
