Hello all my amazing donors!
As you may or may not know, for the last 3 years I have run Falmouth Road Race with many family members and friends in memory of my Uncle Jay. While I continue to run with Uncle Jay in my heart and mind, this year I am joining team Adelia the Wonder Girl!
Adelia is a student at my mom's school who is battling a rare pediatric brain cancer. While I have not met Adelia personally, from all my mom has shared I know she has more strength, courage, and bravery than anyone I know!
I am looking forward to taking on 7 miles of hills, blazing sun, and winding roads to help raise money to find a cure for Adelia and all the children like her who are unfairly battling this terrible disease.
This year the funds raised by Team Adelia the Wonder Girl are being specifically designated to a vital new Brain Tumor Center at Boston Children’s Hospital and Dana Farber, which will focus on
● Fueling rapid diagnoses to personalize care
● Building tumor-specific programs
● Devising neurosurgical solutions at every turn
● Creating a diverse community of brain tumor
experts
