In 2022, I was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called liposarcoma. Fortunately, it was treatable through surgery. The large tumor was removed from my left thigh, taking some of my quad muscle as well. I am grateful for the excellent care I received from Day 1 at Dana-Farber, from the sarcoma specialists and surgeon to my oncologist and the radiology staff, and also for the ongoing cancer research happening there. Recovering from surgery and being able to hike and run is an amazing gift for me. This will be my first 10K and my first trail race! Please help me celebrate and give back to Dana-Farber to support cancer research and treatment.
Thank you for your support!
