On August 18, I will participate Falmouth Road Race! I am training to run 7-miles, while raising critical funds that directly support Dana-Farber Cancer Institute patients and families.
This year, I am running for Adelia, a second grader at South Elementary School. 15 months ago, “Adelia the Wonder Girl” and her family received a devastating diagnosis of an incurable brain tumor called Diffuse Midline Glioma. She was given 9-12 months to live, and with only experimental phase 1 clinical trails available as a treatment, was left with few options. The entire South School community has come together in many ways - thank you for supporting my fundraising efforts. Click here to learn more about her story.
Each donation, no matter the size, supports The Dana-Farber Campaign, focused on supporting revolutionary research, extraordinary care, exceptional expertise, and other priorities, to help Dana-Farber accomplish its mission of preventing, treating, and defying cancer, like Adelia's.
Thank you for your support! Together, we are helping Dana-Farber race toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
