Welcome to my fundraising page! Here, I share the story of my beloved Mimi and my journey to honor her memory while also supporting the incredible team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Mimi was my grandmother, but she was my biggest supporter and a best friend, cheering me on at every race, game, and event no matter the distance or location. It pains me that I will not be crossing the finish line into her welcoming, proud arms this year.
In late 2023, our lives took an unexpected turn when Mimi was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Despite the shock, she faced her diagnosis with unwavering courage and determination. Just a day after Christmas, she began her battle, starting chemotherapy at Dana-Farber with Papa and me by her side holding her hand.
Throughout her treatment, Mimi showed immense strength and resilience. She fought with all her might, never giving up hope despite the challenges she faced. Her bravery inspired everyone around her, including the nurses, doctors, and social workers at Dana-Farber who provided exceptional care and support.
Unfortunately, despite her incredible strength and determination, Mimi lost her battle with cancer in March. Her passing left an irreplaceable void in my heart and in the hearts of everyone who knew her. But her legacy of love, courage, and resilience lives on.
As I lace up my shoes for the Falmouth Road Race, I do so with Mimi's name across my shirt, carrying her spirit with me every step of the way. I run not only to honor her memory but also to give back to the amazing team at Dana-Farber who cared for her with such compassion and dedication.

As I prepare to take on Falmouth, I carry Mimi's memory in my heart. With your support, I hope to make her smile as I run for her and for Dana-Farber.
