I am running in honor of the two angels I admire the most, Mother and Daughter, Patrice and Charlotte Rose Kelly. They fought so hard and lost their battles with cancer. Charlotte in 2011 at the age of 5, from Neuroblastoma and Patrice in 2023 at the age of 53, from Breast Cancer. Many Dana Faber nurses and doctors were the support system throughout their fight.
On August 18, hundreds of Dana-Farber runners, including myself, will participate in the 52nd running of the ASICS Falmouth Road Race! I am training to run 7-miles along Cape Cod’s scenic coastline, while raising critical funds that directly support Dana-Farber Cancer Institute patients and families, in New England and around the world.
Every mile and each donation, no matter the size, supports The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Please help me honor those who have lost their battle and support those still fighting.
