I am participating in the 2022 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai, taking steps toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
In the fall of 2021 I went in for my annual exam and found out that I had lumps in a breast and abnormal cells from my Pap smear. It ended up being cervical and uterine cancer for which I had a radical hysterectomy in January 2022.I go back in August to do some follow up exams for both situations. Both my mom and sister have had cancer and survived, i’ve had family and friends both survive and pass away from this awful disease so I’m just another person on this long list of cancer patients and cancer survivors!
